Randy Neil has been
promoting hobbies for over three decades, and has a deep background in
successful marketing and promotion for all kinds of collectibles. One of our
oldest clients is the widely-known
Collectibles Insurance Agency, which insures well over 100 different
kinds of collectibles.
Professional experience. Starting point: William Allen White School of
Journalism at the University of Kansas---advertising, radio and TV major.
Along the way: 30 years experience in direct mail, print media, public
relations, catalog design, web design & management, and teacher in marketing
principles. High-end computer graphic artist. A stint as an executive
producer for four television specials for CBS-TV.
Our background for this business began
in the huge stamp collecting marketplace. Known
well as an innovator and proponent for change, Neil founded MIDAPHIL, the
Collectors Club of Kansas City and the American Association of Philatelic
Exhibitors. As president of the American Philatelic Society in 1993-97, he
originated its John K. Tiffany Endowment Fund and got the organization growing
again. He's been both a collector and dealer and has
written and/or published five best-selling books for Simon and Schuster and St.
Martin's Press.
